When KD’s long-time girlfriend dumps her, she returns to her rapidly gentrifying hometown of Hoboken, looking for a place to stay, a job and a way to mend her broken heart. She discovers an eclectic tribe of artists, activists and gay people forging a safe if zany space in the age of Reagan.
