Young performers embark on an imaginative journey filled with laughter, creativity, and boundless excitement. Through a blend of theatre games, acting exercises, singing, and collaborative play, students step into the shoes of beloved characters from Elephant and Piggie and Pete the Cat to explore the magic of storytelling and discover their unique voices.

Each week focuses on a different element of theatre.

Week 1 - Improv

A blast of spontaneous fun, where you'll think on your feet and let your creativity soar! 

Week 2 - Acting

Learn essential acting skills and build confidence on stage.

Week 3 - Scene Study

Create characters and bring scripts to life.

Students take on roles as playwrights, directors, and actors all at once as they create an original piece based on their favorite book characters! Students get hands-on with every part of the production, from creating characters to shaping scenes. It's not just about putting on a play—it's about teamwork, self-expression, building confidence, and having fun! 

Must register for all three weeks.

​Playwriting Class (Grades 4-8) 

Have you ever wanted to write a play? Not sure where to start, or better yet, how to finish? Learn the basics of playwriting including character development, plot, dialogue, and everything in between in a safe and creative space. Watch your words come to life each week as we work towards a 10-minute play. 

Acting Scene Study  (Grades 3-8)

Young actors will develop a set of acting tools through improvisation exercises and scene work. Build a backstory, create a character, and test performance skills in a safe environment. This program helps young artists develop skills that will last a lifetime. 

Production Class (Grades 4-8)

Students will write, rehearse and perform a show they create. This program helps young artists develop skills that will last a lifetime and explore the art of collaboration through classes in acting, playwriting, improvisation, stagecraft, and production. Students will be responsible for all aspects of the production process including sets, costumes, lighting, sound, and prop design. Students will be expected to see the project through from beginning to end as one of the goals of the program.
