Girl’s Fest is a day of arts-focused creative activities, panel discussions, keynotes, and workshops designed especially for young women. We will celebrate the ingenuity and creativity of girls through all disciplines –theatre, music, visual arts – and encourage them to discover the leader within by harnessing their creative talents.
Date: New date to be announced soon.
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Nominate a future leader from your area.
It is an exciting time for women. More and more women are excelling in leadership positions – in entertainment, government, non-profits, start-ups and public corporations. Even so, the number of male leaders still dwarfs female leaders. Being a leader requires having the skills to thrive in a world that is increasingly uncertain and complex. The arts help us safely explore unknown territory, be courageous, and take conceptual risks.

At Girls’ Fest, participants will interact with leaders in the arts, industry, government, education, and the media, coming in contact with a diverse world of leaders and leadership styles.Through engaging in collaborative activities, participants of Girls’ Fest will develop essential skills to become strong and creative future leaders and the confidence to put themselves forward for leadership roles.
Any girl*, grades 5-8, who attends school in Hudson, Bergen, or Essex counties can be a part of Girls' Fest 2020.
